Hello from Texas! Welcome to Twpter.
Notes @sysop
Duplicate comment issue not resolved. Comments will still be duplicated in user feeds, if the receiver of the comment is following the commenter and the commenter also includes them in 'at' user tag.
Commented out of newly added logic that checks for multiple comments. this logic was found to prevent intended comments from logging where they should, and only logged them in commenters feed, not 'at' user's

I think you are right about term limits. We also need to get the "Dark" money out of politics. The ability to make PACs
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_action_committee
Allows much dark money to enter political campaigns without properly identifying the source of that money.
However, one of the biggest forces for corruption in the way of introducing obscene amounts of money into politics is by far the "Citizens United" ruling.

Let's migrate this discussion to the #politics hashtag. We try and save this NewUsers page for announcing new users and quickly getting info to new users on the platform.

Question from user: @JoRiz
"So how do I make a new group called immigration?
immigration?"
Answer:
I guess you mean make a new hash tag page.
When you are typing your comment just put a hash symbol in front of any word or string of words (without spaces) and it becomes a hash tag and creates a new page that other users can comment on.
like this: #immigration
Be sure to put at least 1 space BEFORE and also AFTER the hash tag you create.
Note that hash tags are case sensitive, so if you spelled it with a capital letter, you always need to spell it that way, or it will create a new hash tag page with the alternate spelling.
Also note: Sometimes if you don't specifically put a space after the hash tag, the system will not parse it and the hash tag page won't get created. This happens with line breaks not being seen by the system as "true" spaces, even though it looks like a space on the
screen.
The same need for spaces goes with addressing a user with the "At" symbol.

We absolutely disagree with the idea of a flat earth due to direct observation and extensive experience with personal intercontinental air travel, in addition to hundreds of years of irrefutable empirical evidence from the greatest scientific minds from Galileo to Copernicus et al.
However, we will concede on Neil deGrasse Tyson; he really rode in on the coat tails of Carl Sagan as his personal pet white guilt project, (Carl was ahead of his time on being "Woke") with material assistance from US Government diversity quotas; not necessarily through merit or the originality of his ideas.
The man does appear to be passionate about science (real or popular), but he can not fill Carl Sagan's shoes; and seems like a shill for the #Oligarchy & the space mining of precious metals that they want #NASA and the American Taxpayers to pay for

@sysop I'm glad to see that emojis are working properly. We need to see about offering a set of emojis to users.
Maybe put them in a pop-up window and the user clicks on the emoji they want, and it automatically gets inserted into the comment being written.
Or perhaps some behavior like the copy link button / box, where you click on it, and it is copied to your clipboard, then they paste it into the comment themselves; this may be the easiest way to do it, without too much java script.

@Larry thanks for fielding this one for me.
I'm not sure what @StandAlone is expecting here at Twpter.
No. Not everyone agrees with everyone, that is what freedom of Dissent is about. The fact that we ( Twpter.com ) are not deleting HOLOTRUTHER's LEGALLY protected comments (legal under the 1st amendment) despite what our staff personally thinks about them should say all that needs to be said about what this platform stands for.
We here at Twpter.com are not the "arbiters of reality", we are only a ragtag "wanna-be" social media platform that actually abides by the 1st amendment freedoms we are afforded in this country, unlike our mainstream, Big Silicon Valley counterparts.
This whole discussion with StandAlone has overtones of of that scene in that movie "Falling Down" (1993) with Michael Douglas, where "D-fens" encounters the Nazi store owner who can't deal with anyone disagreeing with him.

If you are requesting some sort of self analyzation and reflection; I suppose I was practicing politics, and to my own disdain a subconscious form of self censorship.
Anyone with some semblance of intelligence and some modicum of critical thinking skills can see the truth in many of these statements, but we are conditioned by society to suppress these ideas.
The other issue is: there is some kernal of truth to the ideas espoused by HOLOTRUTHER and others like him, but there is also a lot of misinformation, exaggeration, and blind hatred.
If we can separate the verifiable truth from all this chaff of misinformation; we can present these verifiable truths in mainstream discourse and effect constructive change of policy, and see that only those who are culpable of wrongdoing against society are singled out to be ostracized and justifiably punished for their willful harm to society.
If those on both sides of this issue "policed" their own, the issues would be resolved in short order, to the benefit of all.

We did some work today on the Avatar upload module to make it more intuitive to use. @Deathcruzer
If you continue to have problems let me or @sysop know.
We just added picture upload capabilities, so you can post a screen shot of the problem you had.
We will certainly reward you with Twtpter Credits for helping to diagnose this problem / system glitch.
Thanks.

In case you don't know: ACLU stands for: American Civil Liberties Union

The #ACLU should be so concerned with civil liberties; instead of being a tool of the "Woke" crowd in misguided Social Justice causes that betray the principles they once stood for.
Most people don't remember, but at one time the ACLU was so principled they actually defended the free speech rights of the KKK and neo-nazi groups.

Glitch Fix:
Fixed SCID link name generator algorithm to generate correct link to send to copy box on hash tag pages and user feed pages. Previously the link generator algorithm was only configured for regular comment pages.

Remedy:
Changed log entry protocol for hash tag pages to log all replies made on other pages as level Zero comments on the hash tag page.
However, replies made to all comments on hash tag pages will still have their Reply Level preserved and identified.

Absolutely, this Covid nonsense is like a cult. 500 years ago people like this would have been performing some sort of equally bizarre ritual with a supernatural twist and flavor. Today, in this age we have the same penchant for bizarre rituals, but with a pseudo science twist and flavor.
Be it extreme religion, or extreme pseudo science, or some other nonsense; so many people are sheep-like followers who desperately need to believe in something, and have other people think for them. #politics

@Raider55 #covid has got to be one of the biggest global scams in history. It is nothing more than the common seasonal flu by all real accounts coming in from the "streets"; the only "scary" info about it comes from the governments, and the people & orgs that have something to sell or make money from this Covid nonsense.
There has been much written in the past year about it. Here is my favorite source of info for "COVID"
