Without a doubt, for the last 10 years or so, cars have become the number 1 privacy concern after smart phones. At least with a smart phone you have a choice whether you want to carry one or not. As older vehicles begin to get phased out and are no longer on the road, or spare parts for those older vehicles become harder to find; eventually you will need to buy a newer car that is packed with computerized "smart" accessories and functions that double as surveillance devices.

This is patently absurd. Most people I know have been using these highly effective over the counter cold and flu medications for decades. These people effectively print money and control most of the capital in the world. They don't care about a few of their brands losing money, they will make up the profits with another one of their corporate holdings, and distribute the profits back to the boycotted company.
It is not possible to vote or boycott these people out of power, but these people need to be removed from power, or #WeThePeople are truly fucked. I do not see a legal solution to this issue.
