It seems that the only thing progressive about the west lately is the progressive depravity and sickness of the culture we are promoting to the rest of the world, and using to undermine our economic competitors.
looking back on this old Pepsi commercial it seems quaint and almost wholesome; the idea of promoting sugary Western junkfood, skateboarding and Rock & Roll, essentially enlisting American pop culture in the psychop to topple the Soviet Order & promote western values, at the time it seemed like we were doing these people a favor, and breaking them free from their dull communist economic and cultural oppression.

We in the west and particularly in the United States felt that we had the moral high-ground with our political system which afforded us freedom of speech and of religion and a thriving suburban middle class, in stark contrast to the poor, oppressed apartment dwellers in the USSR forced to stand in lines to buy staples such as underwear and eggs and worship Lenin & Marx.
Question: In this new cold war with Russia, which now is arguably more capitalistic than the United States, what could we possibly offer the people of #Ukraine to compel them to fight re-unification with Russia?

My Criticisms of Einstein's theories and the cult-like media and historical entourage that grew up around him and his "work" has EVERYTHING to do with Einstein taking a big fucking shit in the "Scientific Punch bowl" and corrupting and contaminating Real Science with mysticism and religious dogma. I heap the same scorn and derision on Max Planck, Stephen Hawking and any other "dinner party charlatan" vying for research grants and publication in Scientific Journals.
If Einstein would have presented his "mystical theories" to a Rabbinical council instead of the Scientific Establishment, I wouldn't have any problem with his work. The problem is: he presented them as "Science" and set back real scientific discovery by having generations of science students chasing the rabbit holes he created.

Einstein was a created celebrity, ultimately he was a mystic not a physicist or a man of True Science. You can not NOT marry Science to Mysticism & Religion and expect educated, intelligent people to respect your work as scientific fact.
