It would appear that if you forget to add a space at the end of the hash tag, it will not be parsed, even if the comment box automatically wraps to the next line of text. The line wrap does not contain a space, even though it appears that way when the comment text file is opened.

I think we got this thing parsing line breaks
and properly "escaping" quote marks to avoid code injection
I think I also got rid of those greater than less than sign artifacts that show up on the last line of text of a comment when the system inserts a final line break. sysop > #politics

System test: problem of portions of text in middle of comment not appearing on comment display, but saved in system comment text file. Initially cause was thought to be malfunction of link parsing script. However, it now appears to do with parsing of line breaks (br) and (br space and forward slash) versions. Possible use of shift key when pressing enter key to make a line break in comment may introduce disallowed characters that can not be properly parsed and prevent text display between them

Yes I am seeing this ready hash tag on my timeline. This is much improvement but you have still not addressed problem with link copy button having correct link when not shown on a comment page; that is: when you want to copy link from hashtag page or user timeline, the link to copy is not correct.
